Continually being courted by production companies to oversee their projects,
Mr. DeShay is currently employing his creative genius as President of
Television for Tri Destined Studios.
Best known for his work as a producer on the runaway Fox hit series
American Idol, starring Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul & Randy Jackson;
Ron DeShay is continually showcasing his talents as a reputable powerhouse
within the Hollywood arena. Ron is responsible for many of the successful
programs America has come to know and love including another of Fox’s
biggest hits, American Juniors. American Juniors came second in the
ratings only to its predecessor the aforementioned American Idol.
Since American Juniors, Ron DeShay has continued to make leaps and
bounds within the illustrious Tinseltown. Ron served as Senior Producer
of SpikeTV’s sketch comedy show MDN Do This! before being handpicked
by network executives to executive produce and direct The History
Channel’s first ever reality program, Full Throttle. Time and time
again Mr. DeShay continues to illustrate why he is the man to smooth
the progress of your production aspirations.
Ron’s commitment to his community and diversified programming beckoned
him to take to task the role of director for BET’s College Hill 2.
As a direct result of Ron’s leadership, this season College Hill 2
enjoyed the highest ratings ever for the series. Hands down, no questions
asked, without a doubt Ron DeShay possesses the MidasTouch. Considering
his recent undertaking, rest assured that this is only the beginning
for Ron DeShay.
The industry is already a buzz for what is slated to be another Ron
DeShay masterpiece, Walking in the Light – a heartwarming television
series starring Cookie Johnson (wife of NBA star Magic Johnson) and
Pauletta Washington (wife of Academy Award winner Denzel Washington.)
Ron currently resides in Los Angeles, California with his wife of
6 years Colette DeShay.
